Mission Veterinary Emergency & Specialty has an experienced team and we aim to provide efficient, compassionate care for your pet during unexpected events. Our pet emergency facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to serve the community of Mission, Kansas City, and more. Our veterinarians treat your pets like family. We serve as an extension of care when your family veterinarian is not available. When seconds count during an emergency, we’re here for you.

Our specialty team is comprised of skilled veterinarians who are trained and board-certified. If your pet has an injury or condition that requires expert care, your family veterinarian may refer you to one of our specialists. Just as with emergency care, we provide extended care. At Mission Veterinary Emergency & Specialty, we work closely with your pet’s family veterinarian to ensure excellent treatment for all patients.

MVES has an expert team of outstanding, board-certified and specially-trained veterinarians who function as an extension of your family veterinarian. Your veterinarian will refer you and your pet to MVES when your pet requires specialized care that your vet does not offer. Together, we'll develop a treatment best suited for your pet.
