Valley West Animal Hospital Ltd
Valley West Animal Hospital was originally established in 1963 by Dr. Bill Welty and Dr. Jim Matchette. Dr. Cromer acquired the practice from her long time mentors in 1999, after working for them both as a Veterinary Technician and Doctor over the course of 13 years. In 2005, the practice moved from the 7811 address to the building next door, where it now resides. Dr. Cromer treats dogs, cats, birds and a variety of small mammals. At home with her husband, Chris Simpson, also a veterinarian, and there daughter Kaziah, they have a menagerie of animals consisting of dogs, cats, birds, fish, chickens, a tortoise, and a 37 year old retired rope horse, Bear, who now moonlights as yard art.
In her SPARE TIME she is breeding and showing Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in hopes of producing a more sound line that is AS free of Mitral Valvular Disease and Syringomyelia as possible.
